Research Interests: marine ecology, marine invertebrate zoology and taxonomy, effects of invasive species on local communities, larval ecology (development, dispersal, behavior, and effects on population structure), evolutionary biology and systematics, marine invertebrate communities (rocky intertidal, subtropical reefs, estuaries, and mudflats), wetland restoration ecology, and coastal conservation management.
