SERC Projects: National fouling survey of marine invertebrates (mostly San Francisco Bay), Bivalve and Gastropod taxonomy, general marine invertebrate taxonomy, invasive species identification, Rhithropanopeus Survey (assisting with collection in multiple SF Bay sites for salinity trials)

Research Interests: marine ecology, marine invertebrate zoology, effects of invasive (non-native) species on local communities, larval ecology (development, dispersal, behavior, and effects on population structure), evolutionary biology and systematics, marine invertebrate communities (rocky intertidal, subtropical reefs, estuaries, and mudflats), wetland restoration ecology, and coastal conservation management.
