Join us at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center for a special Story Hike! All are welcome to enjoy a story and learn about hiking etiquette at the Reed Education Center before we set off on the Fox Creek Nature Trail to explore the flora and fauna on the SERC campus. Observe fish and crabs in Fox Creek, oysters at the Marsh Boardwalk, and interesting insects in the woods.

The Fox Creek Nature Trail is 1.3 miles long and is not stroller-friendly. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. This program is recommended for kids ages 5 and up.
