Kristen Goodhue (formerly Kristen Minogue) has been writing about SERC science since 2011. Her main duties include writing and editing the SERC Shorelines blog, writing press releases, producing SERC's print newsletter, On The Edge, and managing SERC's social media. An especially good day involves photographing scientists in the field on a crabbing survey or at a stream restoration project. Before coming to SERC, Kristen worked as a news intern at Science Magazine and did research as a graduate student intern with Newsweek in Beijing. She has a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
