This Halloween weekend, grab your running shoes and favorite post-apocalypse T-shirt for SERC’s first-ever zombie dash! Make your way through 5 kilometers of zombie-infested trails, while trying to avoid the volunteer zombies jumping out from the trees. For younger racers, we’ll have a zombie-free 1k with post-run trick or treating. Costumes optional….just don’t forget to bring your brain.

• Fun and scenic 5k trail run course with hidden zombies

• Inflatable Costume Mad Dash
• Finish-line medals for all participants
• Participant shirts for all registered 5k participants

Skele-bration Zone

Expect lots of tricks and treats in the Skele-bration Zone! There will be something for everyone. Trick or treating, face painting, and games for the kids. Great food and beverage options from local vendors, and incredible homemade baked goods. This event provides a great opportunity to come together to celebrate the spirit of community while raising money for a local cause.

Inflatable Costume Mad Dash

Step into your favorite inflatable costume and wobble, we mean make a mad dash to the finish line. All participants of the inflatable costume mad dash must be registered and sign a waiver of liability. This is a free fun run and will not be timed. The distance is 100 yards.

Special Notes:

• Running strollers are NOT permitted.
• The 5k course is on unpaved roads (trails). Click to view course map
• Pets are NOT permitted on the SERC property.
• There will be NO zombies as part of the kids' fun run.
• The approximate distance of the Kids Fun Run is .15 miles / 200 yards in length.
• All participants must be registered and complete a waiver of liability.
• Additional on-site fees may apply for food and participation in kids activities.
• Registrations for 5k made after October 10 are not guaranteed preferred t-shirt size.
