Event Location

Event Details

Summary: This science presentation will highlight the work of Bill's most recent doctoral advisee graduate, Qian Zhang.  He has evaluated a decadal-scale (1986-2013) history of concentrations and fluxes of nitrogen, phosphorus, and suspended sediment using data from sites above and below the Conowingo reservoir, to better understand trapping efficiency changes over time for different ranges of river flow.  The seminar will conclude with a short presentation on "Chesapeake Research Consortium:  Who We Are, What We Do, and Why," in which Bill will introduce the Chesapeake Bay Expertise Database (CBED) that the Chesapeake Research Consortium is developing and encourage the involvement of SERC scientists.
