The Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, in collaboration with Parvilla Cycles and Crossing Currents Aquatics, is proud to present the first SERC Splash and Dash featuring a swim-run-fun format race. This all-ages event will offer a challenge to experienced athletes but also will appeal to those wanting to "get their feet wet" before attempting their first triathlon.  

The 800-meter swim will take place at the beautiful Rhode River. The 5-kilometer (3.1-mile) run will be on the trails within the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. This event will be professionally timed by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing, LLC.

4:00pm - Packet pickup onsite (park and check-in at the Reed Education Center)
5:00pm - Race start

Registration fee: $50. Online registration closes Tuesday, July 26 at 10:00 pm Eastern.
