Emily Loffredo works with Brian Magness and Christine Buckley in the Development Office of Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC). She has been an Advancement Associate with SERC since June 2015 and coordinates special events, manages the donor database, conducts research and prospect management, and is implementing a foundation relations program.
Before joining SERC, Emily supported science units of the Smithsonian for three years as a prospect research analyst. Previously, she held development positions with the National Audubon Society, Florida International University and New York City Audubon. Emily spent the early part of her career as an environmental scientist, holding field technician positions with Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, and Audubon's Everglades Science Center at Tavernier.
