| abstract | Since 1997, the hourly wind speed data have been collected from the weather tower near the SERC lab buildings. Before 1997, the hourly wind speed data were collected from the main weather station near the Schmidt center. The data are recorded by a Campbell CR10x automated data logger. The data in the daily table were calculated from the hourly table. The average wind speed for the day is the average of 24 hourly averages. The daily maximum wind speed is the largest of the hourly maximums and the daily minimum is the smallest of the hourly minimums. The data are in an Access database in the tables "HourlyWSpeed" and "DailyWSpeed". |
