As an education intern this summer, I learned and managed the existing programs SERC's education component, as well as designing and implementing curriculum.  I directed one week of environmental day camp.  I also gave five forty-five minute interactive video conferences to elementary classes about various aspects of the Chesapeake Bay.  To extend this aspect of my work, I participated in the development of video conference curriculum on the concept of "scale."  After finishing my undergraduate degree at St. John's College, I plan on thinking about graduate school and science-related work.
