Jacqueline Allen - Photobiology Lab

Jacqueline Allen is an undergraduate at Cornell University and is majoring in neurobiology.  She is currently interning this summer at the Photobiology and Radiation Lab under Patrick Neale and Linda Franklin.  Her project consists of simulating and observing the effects of UV light on the diatom, Thalassiosira pseudonana, suspended in a vertical mixing current.  Jacqueline looks forward to graduating in 2003 and attending graduate school.

Jackie's internship was funded by the Smithsonian Women's Committee.
