Nitzschia pungens syn Pseudo-Nitzschia pungens

This is a neritic species found in most coastal waters in the world. At times the chains can be many cells long.
Valve length is 71-162µ. This sample was collected at Marina Park; which is a small harbor with many
water sport activities.
