Nitzschia longissma

Typical example of N. longissima. Average size is 150-450µ long, typically seen at 200µ, and 6-7µ wide. A cosmopolitan species found in most parts of the world. This sample collected from forereef area of Carrie Bow Cay. Examples above are in valve view.
